Meta has launched Meta One, a new subscription service providing expanded access to AI tools for image and video generation across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The initiative aims to monetize the company's Muse AI models, following a $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI in 2025.

The new consumer tiers include the Core plan at $7.99 per month and the Premium plan at $19.99 per month. These subscriptions incorporate existing features from Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, which were introduced in March at prices ranging from $2.99 to $3.99 per month.

For creators and businesses, Meta introduced four tiers: Essential starting at $14.99, Advanced from $49.99, Expert from $149, and Max from $499 per month. These plans offer tools for account management, enhanced profiles, and increased capacity for the Meta Business Agent.

Recent data from Appfigures indicates that daily revenue for Instagram reached $1.2 million and Facebook reached $528,000 during the week of September 9. These figures represent growth of 475% and 143% respectively compared to the previous week.

Financial analysts project significant revenue growth from these subscription efforts. BNP Paribas forecasts an additional $13.5 billion in revenue by 2028, while Truist estimates the company could generate an additional $20 billion by 2030.
