Employees at MegaFon are permitted to develop and utilize AI agents or specific skills to address local tasks independently. However, the company mandates a centralized validation process before any such internally created solutions can be deployed across the entire organization.
Vitaly Shcherbakov, Director of the AI and Big Data Department at MegaFon, explained this policy during the Digital Solutions forum held in Moscow. He emphasized that this approach ensures consistency and reliability across corporate systems.
The company draws a parallel between AI development and business intelligence practices. Just as employees may create personal reports, the methodology behind them must undergo a formal audit before they are shared company-wide. MegaFon intends to apply this same rigorous standard to all corporate AI tools.
