MazeBolt Technologies Ltd. has introduced a native deployment of its RADAR validation platform specifically for Akamai Technologies Inc. customers. This integration allows enterprises to perform continuous DDoS testing without taking their services offline, with setup completed in a matter of hours.
The platform addresses configuration gaps that emerge as companies expand their services, APIs, and regions. According to MazeBolt, approximately 37% of attack vectors bypass existing protections during initial production environment tests. The system includes a VectorAI module, launched in June, which simulates AI-orchestrated and AI-generated attacks.
Following each test, RADAR provides remediation guidance tailored to the specific protection vendor. The platform then re-tests the environment once fixes are implemented. This native support for Akamai environments is now available to all existing RADAR customers, joining support for other vendors like Cloudflare, F5, and Radware.
Data from an Akamai report published in March indicates that Layer 7 DDoS attacks increased by 104% over a two-year period. Furthermore, a MazeBolt survey of 300 security leaders revealed that 86% of organizations test their DDoS defenses only once a year or less, despite a 738% rise in the median duration of Layer 3 and 4 attacks on the financial sector since 2024.
