Marvell Technology is presenting 38 new technology demonstrations at the European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC) 2026, held in Málaga from September 20 to 24. The company is showcasing its 2nm optical interconnect technologies designed for high-bandwidth AI data centers.

A key highlight is the 2nm 400G-per-lane optical PAM4 solution, which supports the transition to 3.2 terabit link speeds. Additionally, the company is demonstrating a 2nm 1.6T ZR solution and a 102.4T co-packaged optics (CPO) platform utilizing 200G-per-lane silicon photonics.

The company also introduced an 800G ZR/ZR+ pluggable module featuring hardware-level MACsec encryption powered by the Libra DSP. This integration secures network traffic directly within the module, reducing reliance on software-based security layers.

Marvell’s current roadmap follows the release of 3nm-based 1.6T solutions. The Electra DSP for 1.6T and the Libra DSP for 800G, both announced earlier in 2026, are scheduled to begin sampling in the second half of this year.
