Paris-based startup Marble has secured €6.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Smartfin. Other participants included ADNEXUS, Passion, 42Capital, and Hexa. This investment brings the company's total funding to €9 million, with TSIC also listed as an existing investor.

Founded in 2021 by Arnaud Schwartz and Pascal Delange, Marble provides a no-code, open-source platform for fraud detection and AML compliance. The system is designed for mid-market banks and fintechs, allowing teams to build transaction monitoring rules, conduct watchlist screening, and perform risk scoring without IT support.

The platform currently operates at over 100 institutions across more than 25 countries. According to the company, it processes more than three billion transactions annually and reduces manual review efforts by 90%. Nearly 70% of its customers are located outside France.

Marble aims to reach over €5 million in annual recurring revenue by 2027. The new capital will be used to integrate AI into compliance workflows, including automated rule generation and alert triage, as well as to accelerate deployment cycles for financial institutions.

The software can be deployed on-premises or as SaaS. Its open-source architecture allows auditors to inspect decision-making processes. Future development plans focus on agentic compliance and making workflow adjustments a routine configuration task for compliance officers.
