Manus, a Singapore-based AI agent platform, has launched version 2.0, featuring the new Cascade architecture. This technical update reportedly reduces token consumption by 23.2%, improves task completion speed by 28.2%, and cuts operational costs by 32%.

The release includes a new consumer-focused application called Cue. It allows users to deploy personal AI agents equipped with dedicated email addresses, phone numbers, and digital wallets, marking the company's expansion beyond enterprise and developer markets.

The company is currently seeking $500 million in a funding round that targets a valuation of approximately $4 billion. This valuation would be roughly 32 times the company's revenue run rate recorded in December 2025.

Manus reported a revenue run rate growth from approximately $90 million in August 2025 to $125 million by December 2025. The firm, led by CEO Xiao Hong and Chief Scientist Ji Yichao, resumed independent operations on September 1, 2026.

The company was founded in China and launched in March 2025 before relocating to Singapore by mid-2025. In April 2026, the Chinese government blocked a proposed acquisition of Manus by Meta, which was valued at approximately $2 billion.
