Italian startup Magic Vision, founded in 2023, has secured €600,000 in funding. The round included participation from SixS and a group of Italian business angels with backgrounds in law, compliance, and business development. The company previously received a €30,000 award from the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce via the Switch2Product program.

The startup, based in Meda, developed Silver Eye, an environmental monitoring system for elderly and vulnerable individuals. The technology utilizes proprietary AI and computer vision to detect falls and behavioral anomalies without requiring wearable devices. Data is processed locally using edge AI to ensure privacy, as the system does not store or transmit images.

Silver Eye is currently deployed in pilot and commercial projects with over 200 sensors installed. The company aims to monitor more than 100 people by the end of 2026. The startup has been supported by incubators and accelerators including PoliHub, ComoNExT’s NExT Accelerator, and Paradigma Exponential Hub.

Magic Vision is now preparing for a new funding round of €1.5 million. These funds are intended to accelerate commercial growth, establish a network of partners across Italy, and initiate European expansion. The company targets securing its first international customer within the next 24 months.
