M.Video has resumed the registration of new branded pickup points in Moscow, the Moscow region, and St. Petersburg. The company previously paused the process due to a high volume of applications.
The retailer is expanding its network to 10 additional regions, including the Samara, Rostov, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Omsk, Kemerovo, and Tomsk regions, as well as Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and the Krasnodar Territory. This brings the total number of regions with M.Video pickup points to 13.
The expansion follows improvements in warehouse and logistics infrastructure and the launch of a dedicated application for pickup point operations. The company has also updated its requirements for new locations, now mandating specific entrance branding and staff training.
Following the restart, the company received over 700 applications in the first few days. The Rostov region accounted for 21% of requests, followed by the Sverdlovsk region at 18%, and the Samara region and Tatarstan at 11% each. Novosibirsk and Bashkortostan each saw 10% of the interest.
To open a partner pickup point, a space of at least 20 square meters is required. M.Video provides branding materials, and the company notes that the launch does not require significant additional investment.
