Loops Smart AI, a startup focused on agentic e-commerce solutions, has secured $3.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by the a16z Speedrun accelerator from Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from NTT Docomo, Connecticut Innovations, Alumni Ventures, and Monday Capital.
The company provides a unified AI layer designed to integrate fragmented e-commerce tools into a single system. Its platform includes natural language search, a real-time shopping assistant, product data enrichment, and virtual try-on features to manage the entire customer journey.
The platform is currently used by over 70 online retailers. Notable results include an 83% increase in the customer conversion rate for the supermarket chain A101 and a 13.6% rise in average order values for the retailer Tchibo.
Loops plans to use the new capital to scale its operations globally. Beyond e-commerce, the company intends to expand its technology into other sectors, including financial services and the energy industry.
