Li Auto has introduced the i9 Home, a new flagship SUV, with display models now arriving at dealerships. The vehicle is set for an official release on September 16. Product line manager Li Xinyang highlighted the car's accessibility features, including a low-floor design that eliminates the need for steps or pedals, and wide door openings for easier entry.

The i9 Home features dual zero-gravity rotating seats in the second row, which support a 60-degree recline. This configuration aligns the passenger's knees with their heart level for enhanced comfort. The third row is designed with a 55-degree backrest angle and electric sliding adjustments, offering comfort levels that the company claims exceed those of many standard SUV second rows.

The vehicle measures 5225 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1752 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3168 mm. These dimensions were confirmed in the 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's product announcement. The SUV is equipped with dual electric motors, delivering a maximum power output of 150 kW for the front and 250 kW for the rear.

CEO Li Xiang previously announced the expansion of the 9-series flagship family in July. The i9 Home model is distinguished by a specific badge on the rear and is positioned as the second 'Home' model in the company's lineup, following the MEGA. The design focuses on maximizing interior space and passenger comfort through its extended wheelbase and specialized seating systems.
