The Li Auto i6 model demonstrated a range of 811.4 km on a single charge during a live-streamed test. The vehicle is equipped with a 96 kWh battery, achieving an average energy consumption of 11.8 kWh per 100 km.

The test took place near Lake Taihu with four passengers, luggage, and 50 kg of additional cargo. The 18-hour journey was conducted on urban roads with speed limits ranging from 40 to 80 km/h and temperatures between 13 and 20 degrees Celsius.

The recorded range exceeded the official CLTC rating of 780 km by 4%. When converted to the WLTP cycle, the result is approximately 27% higher than the manufacturer's stated 640 km for the model.

Starting with the 2026 version, Li Auto has moved away from CATL batteries. The company developed its own battery design, with cells now manufactured by CALB and Sunwoda. The model is expected to launch in Europe in Q1 2027 as the Li 6.
