Li Auto will present its first model for the European market at the Paris Motor Show in October. The battery-electric SUV, known as the i6 in China, will be marketed as the Li 6 abroad, with sales scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The company is currently exploring distribution channels, including potential partnerships with dealers in Germany and the Netherlands. Reports suggest the UK is also under consideration for the launch due to the absence of countervailing tariffs that currently affect the EU.

The manufacturer has begun its European expansion by partnering with the 2026 Solheim Cup in the Netherlands, where it provided 20 i6 SUVs for transport and showcased its Mega electric MPV. The brand intends to sell battery-electric vehicles in Europe, while focusing on its L-series extended-range SUVs for markets in the Middle East and Central Asia.

The i6 model, which launched in China in September 2025, measures 4,950 mm in length and is available in rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. The Chinese rear-wheel-drive version features an 87.3 kWh battery, providing a range of 720 km under the CLTC cycle.

In August, Li Auto delivered 37,679 vehicles, marking a 32.1% year-on-year increase. Total deliveries for the first eight months of 2026 reached 261,619 units. The i6 remains the brand's top-selling vehicle, accounting for 152,842 units sold in China during the same period, representing 59% of its domestic sales.
