LG Electronics has entered into a long-term agreement with the HVAC service provider AIR Control Concepts to supply advanced chillers for artificial intelligence data centers in North America. The deal covers infrastructure projects with a total capacity exceeding 5 GW.

AIR Control Concepts manages large-scale infrastructure projects for major data center operators across North American hubs. This partnership aims to strengthen LG's position in the global AI data center cooling market by addressing the rising demand for efficient thermal management solutions.

The chillers supplied by LG feature a combination of centrifugal air-cooled designs and refrigerant-based natural cooling technology. This system utilizes outdoor cold air to reduce the cooling load on compressors, which, according to internal simulations, can improve energy efficiency by approximately 30 percent compared to traditional water-cooled systems.
