Lenovo announced the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a mini workstation featuring the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 processor. The system is scheduled for release in November 2026, with an expected starting price of $3,669.
The device measures 7.2 x 7.2 x 2 inches and includes integrated AMD Radeon 8065S graphics with up to 96GB of dedicated memory. Connectivity options feature DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, two 10Gbps USB-C ports, two 10Gbps USB-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a 10Gb Ethernet jack.
The workstation supports both Linux and Windows operating systems. It comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI Developer Center, providing preconfigured AI models and tools. Users can cluster up to four units to handle larger AI models and extended workloads.
The market for mini PCs is expected to see increased competition this year as Nvidia prepares to launch systems featuring its RTX Spark technology through various OEM partners.
