The Lenovo Googlebook 15 is positioned as a high-end productivity laptop rather than an entry-level Chromebook. The device measures 341.1 x 236 x 16 mm and weighs approximately 1.29 kg. It features a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and includes a 5MP camera with a privacy shutter.
Internally, the laptop is expected to run on an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, paired with 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage. The device is powered by a 70Wh battery, which the manufacturer claims can last up to 11 hours. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, an HDMI 2.0 interface, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The chassis includes a 150 x 95 mm haptic touchpad and a backlit keyboard featuring a dedicated Google 'G' key. The laptop also incorporates a four-speaker system and a 'Glowbar' LED indicator on the lid for battery status. Lenovo plans to offer accessories such as E310 wireless earbuds, a 540 Convertible Tote bag, and an 'AI Mouse' that features a matching LED indicator.
