The UK-based insurtech company Konsileo has secured €5.9 million in a new equity financing round. The investment was led by Committed Capital and ACF Investors. This latest funding follows a €3.2 million round in April 2018 and a €9.4 million debt and equity financing package completed in November 2024.
Founded in 2017 by John Warburton and Peter Henderson, the company currently employs over 220 staff members. Konsileo manages more than £85 million in annual insurance premiums for businesses across sectors including construction, healthcare, and technology. The firm operates using a self-managed organizational model that emphasizes decentralization.
The company plans to utilize the fresh capital to recruit experienced insurance professionals and further develop its proprietary broking platform. A key focus of the technical roadmap is the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities. The platform is designed to automate administrative tasks and ensure compliance, allowing brokers to prioritize client relationships.
Unlike many competitors, Konsileo has pursued organic growth rather than acquisitions. The company recruits individual brokers and supports their development through the internal Konsileo Academy. The firm also provides clients with direct access to policy management via its custom Riskube platform.
