Kuaishou's Kling AI platform has announced the upcoming launch of its Kling 4.0 model, scheduled for release in October. A specialized version, Kling 4.0 Flash, has already entered a limited testing phase as of September 28 for Black Gold annual members.
The updated model introduces support for 4K and 1080p 10-bit HDR video output, including a 21:9 aspect ratio. Users can generate videos up to 30 seconds in length in a single pass, with an extended continuation feature allowing for total video durations of up to 2 minutes.
Kling 4.0 enhances multi-modal control by allowing users to input up to 10 images, 5 video clips, and 7 subjects in a single task. The system also supports up to 10 keyframes for precise narrative control and features an expanded prompt limit of 8000 tokens.
The platform now includes advanced audio capabilities, such as dual-channel stereo output and improved lip-sync accuracy. It supports a wide range of languages and dialects, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Hindi.
The interface has been redesigned to include a unified creation page with a timeline-based workflow. This allows users to manage previews, editing, and material additions within a single environment, supported by a new canvas-based Agent for layout and node management.
