The funding round was led by Mosaic Ventures, with participation from Moonfire Ventures and AngelInvest Ventures. Notable angel investors, including former Google director Jürgen Galler and Harris Barton, also joined the round.

Founded in 2023 by former Google engineers Asheem Panakkat and Momchil Ivanov, Klarent focuses on automated software testing. The platform uses large language models to write test code, which then executes in a deterministic and repeatable manner.

The company currently serves enterprise clients such as JD Sports, NZZ, and Sixt. At JD Sports, the platform automates multi-system workflows within the retailer's e-commerce pipeline.

Klarent plans to use the new capital to facilitate its expansion into the United States market. Additionally, the startup intends to increase its engineering headcount and extend its testing capabilities to cover more web and mobile platforms.

The company is also targeting the financial services sector, specifically banks and insurance firms, where software reliability is critical to preventing high-cost failures.
