System integrator Kit-Systems has completed a new phase of network infrastructure modernization at the Kolomensky Plant, a member of the TMH group. The project focused on unifying, standardizing, and scaling the facility's structured cabling system (SCS), which supports production processes, local area networks, telephony, and life support systems.

The project team conducted a site survey to assess building layouts and existing communications. The resulting design includes capacity reserves for future business growth. Kit-Systems utilized existing cable routes on-site to optimize project timelines and costs, following technical specifications provided by the client for backbone lines and last-mile connections.

The scope of work included installing cable management systems, laying copper and fiber-optic lines, configuring switching equipment, and performing commissioning and acceptance testing. All activities were conducted in compliance with the GOST 53246-2008 standard, which governs data transmission systems and network requirements.

According to Evgeny Shlyapkin, Technical Director at Kit-Systems, the upgraded infrastructure serves as a universal foundation for data, voice, video, and sensor signal transmission. The implemented solution meets both industry standards for industrial network infrastructures and international technical and operational requirements.
