The new Kia PV7 electric van is built on the E-GMP.S platform and features an 800-volt architecture. The vehicle is equipped with a front-mounted 272 hp electric motor. Customers can choose between 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh battery packs, with the larger option providing a range of over 460 km according to the WLTP cycle.

Charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 25 minutes when using a DC station with up to 350 kW capacity. The van also supports V2L technology for powering external devices. The standard model measures 5350 mm in length with a 3500 mm wheelbase, which is 655 mm longer than the existing PV5 model.

The lineup includes cargo and passenger versions with up to 11 seats. Cargo variants offer up to 8 cubic meters of storage space and a maximum payload capacity of 1200 kg. Kia plans to expand the family to 23 different configurations, including Long and High Roof versions, with the larger PV9 model expected to join the range in 2029.

The interior features a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch Pleos Connect infotainment system based on Android. Safety equipment includes seven airbags and an ADAS suite. To reduce maintenance costs, the exterior design incorporates easily replaceable body panels, which are prone to damage during commercial use.

Sales of the Kia PV7 are scheduled to commence in South Korea and Europe in the second half of 2027, followed by expansion into other global markets.
