Kannan Technology has announced a new AI-powered smart eyewear model, currently in the final stages of product development. The company has scheduled the official market launch for the spring of 2027.
The device features a frameless design that mimics standard optical glasses and supports prescription lenses. Kannan Technology collaborated with Zhejiang Tongda Optical to ensure structural integrity and mass production feasibility for the new hardware.
The glasses weigh 26 grams, with temple thickness reduced to 2.3 millimeters. The hardware includes integrated speakers for audio playback and a PPG sensor for continuous heart rate monitoring.
The device utilizes Bluetooth PAN technology to connect to cloud-based AI services. This integration allows users to access artificial intelligence features directly after pairing, without the need for a dedicated mobile application.
