JPMorgan has increased its price target for Meta Platforms stock from $820 to $920, maintaining an overweight rating. This adjustment suggests an 18% upside from the closing price on Thursday. The bank's decision follows the recent Connect conference, where Meta introduced several upgrades to its Muse AI agent.

Meta shares experienced a significant surge in September, rising over 30%. This performance puts the stock on track for its strongest monthly growth since July 2013. On September 21, the company recorded its largest single-day gain since April 2025, with shares climbing 11% to reach $741.25. By Thursday, the price closed at $777.59.

The Muse agent, which launched on September 8, has integrated with over 2,000 applications within two weeks. Key partnerships include Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora, and Wayfair. JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth noted that the agent is expanding rapidly, with potential for monetization through commission models as interactions shift toward agent-to-agent communication.

Other financial institutions are also adjusting their outlooks. Wells Fargo analyst Ken Gawrelski raised his price target for Meta from $640 to $796, citing strong initial demand. The Muse application previously reached the top of the Apple US App Store chart for free apps. Meta plans to release the Muse Confidential VM and the Muse Charm device later this year.
