Joe Security has introduced Adaptive Detonation, a new feature for its Joe Sandbox AI plugin. The tool utilizes AI agents to detect and bypass evasion techniques that prevent malware from executing during initial analysis runs.

The system identifies obstacles such as timing checks, missing dependencies, or firmware-based rejections. It then applies targeted interventions, including patching blocking checks, creating necessary files, or adjusting environment settings.

Following these modifications, the platform re-analyzes the sample to verify if the intervention successfully triggers hidden malicious activity. This process aims to provide security teams with deeper visibility into evasive threats.

Adaptive Detonation is currently available within the Joe Sandbox Cloud environment. Users can access the functionality through the Joe Sandbox AI plugin, with a free community version available for testing.
