CNBC host Jim Cramer recommended CrowdStrike stock as a must-buy investment on Monday. His endorsement followed a statement by CrowdStrike founder and CEO George Kurtz regarding the necessity of securing artificial intelligence systems against autonomous threats.

Kurtz argued that defenders must block attacks in real time, noting that threats now originate from coordinated AI agents rather than individual hackers. He introduced the term Agent-state to describe these autonomous campaigns that operate at machine speed.

CrowdStrike and Nvidia launched an agentic defense system called SafeMind on September 1. The company claims this system learns from every attack it blocks. Kurtz stated that CrowdStrike intends to contribute its front-line data to ongoing industry discussions about AI safety.

CrowdStrike shares closed at $206.74 on Friday. Despite a 6% decline over the past month, the stock has recorded a 74.46% gain for 2026. Following the endorsement, the stock price rose 3.86% to $214.72 in overnight trading.
