Jeep has officially confirmed the development of a new Renegade model for the European market. The company expects to launch the vehicle by 2030, aiming to expand its customer base and reinforce its regional presence. The original version of the SUV was produced for 11 years, starting in 2014, and achieved sales of over 610,000 units.
The upcoming Renegade is expected to utilize the STLA One multi-energy modular architecture, which supports battery-electric, hybrid, and internal combustion powertrains. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa noted that the Peugeot brand will be the first to implement this platform. Jeep has committed to offering 4x4 capabilities across all its new European model launches.
The company plans to expand its European lineup to six models by 2030. Current offerings include the Avenger in the B-SUV segment and the Recon in the D-SUV segment. Additionally, Jeep intends to introduce another D-SUV model in 2028, which is expected to be developed in collaboration with the Chinese partner Dongfeng.
