Janus Henderson, an asset manager with approximately $500 billion in assets, has launched an Avalanche validator as of September 16, 2026. This move is part of the firm's strategy to integrate blockchain technology into its operations.

The company has acquired an equity stake in the onchain credit platform Tranched, which currently manages $300 million in assets and maintains a pipeline of over $3 billion. Janus Henderson will also serve as an anchor investor for the platform's future issuances.

The firm has been active on the Avalanche network since 2024 through partnerships with Grove and Centrifuge. Its tokenized offerings include the Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO Fund (JAAA), which holds approximately $690 million in assets, and the Treasury Fund (JTRSY).

A $250 million program led by Grove, focused on the JAAA and JTRSY funds, has contributed to doubling the real-world asset footprint on the Avalanche network.
