London-based AI recruiting platform Jack & Jill has secured $40 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Air Street Capital, with participation from new investors Madrona and Antler. Existing backers, including Creandum, Ada Ventures, Entrepreneurs First, Expedite Capital, and Repeat.vc, also contributed to the round.
This latest financing follows a $20 million seed round raised ten months ago, bringing the company's total funding to $60 million. The startup reports that its candidate network has grown tenfold to 350,000 individuals. Since the seed round, the company has seen its revenue increase by forty times.
The platform utilizes two AI agents: Jack, which interviews candidates, and Jill, which interviews hiring managers. These agents facilitate matches based on voice conversations rather than traditional resume keyword filtering. Once a match is confirmed, the system provides a direct introduction between the parties.
Jack & Jill currently employs 25 people across London and San Francisco, including 15 former founders. The company has already launched operations in San Francisco and New York. The new capital will support further expansion within the United States.
The firm has worked with 5,000 companies to date, including Ramp, Attio, and Fyxer. The founders aim to provide hiring agents for one billion people by 2030. The global recruitment software market was valued at $3.4 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $7.5 billion by 2034.
