Isar Aerospace has raised approximately $1 billion through private funding rounds, making it the most well-capitalized private launch company in Europe. The company currently employs nearly 500 people and is scaling production at a new 10-acre factory near Munich, which is designed to have a capacity of up to 40 rockets per year.

The Spectrum rocket can deliver up to one metric ton of payload to low-Earth orbit. For its successful orbital flight, the rocket carried five CubeSats and a technology experiment. The company has already secured contracts with the European Space Agency and commercial firms such as Astroscale.
