At the 2026 iQIYI iJOY Autumn Conference held on September 24, CEO Gong Yu outlined the company's AI strategy. The plan focuses on three pillars: integrating AI into live-action long-form content, developing AIGC long-form productions, and fostering a sustainable creator ecosystem while exploring new AI-driven content formats.

Gong Yu highlighted the rapid growth of hybrid content, which combines live-action footage with AI tools. According to the CEO, this approach enhances audiovisual quality, reduces production cycles, and lowers costs. He emphasized that iQIYI treats AI as a creative enhancement rather than a tool for industrializing or standardizing content production.

The company is prioritizing the development of a healthy creator ecosystem to ensure long-term profitability for content producers. Gong Yu noted that creators remain the core drivers of the industry, and iQIYI aims to provide them with stable returns and sustainable growth opportunities.

iQIYI is also experimenting with interactive applications. The company has launched an interactive channel within its app, allowing users to generate small games or interactive experiences through natural language prompts. The platform plans to integrate these AI-generated applications with interactive video content.
