Investor Gary Black of The Future Fund suggests that SpaceX may acquire Tesla in the coming weeks. According to his projection, the deal would be valued at $420 per share, paid in SpaceX stock. Black estimates that the transaction could take approximately one year to finalize.

The speculation follows recent reports from Barclays analysts, who indicated that a merger announcement could occur before Tesla’s annual general meeting. Discussions regarding a potential consolidation of the two companies have intensified since SpaceX became a public entity.

Biographer Walter Isaacson also commented on the potential for a merger, describing the second-generation Tesla Roadster as a collaborative effort between the two firms. He specifically noted the integration of thruster and rocket technology as evidence of the companies' alignment.
