Intuit has acquired the UK-based fintech startup Sequence, which specializes in AI-driven revenue management and billing automation. The transaction is reportedly valued at approximately $200 million, marking a significant exit for a company founded in 2021.
The startup was co-founded by Riya Grover and Eamon Jubbawy. Grover, who previously led the food tech firm Feedr, holds a stake exceeding 45 percent in Sequence. Jubbawy, a co-founder of the identity verification company Onfido, retains a stake of more than 15 percent.
Prior to the acquisition, Sequence secured around $33 million in funding. Its investor base included Andreessen Horowitz, Passion Capital, firstminute capital, and 645 Ventures. The company maintained operations in London and New York, serving clients such as Legora and Cognition.
