Intel has released the new Graphics Software driver version 32.0.101.8993 in beta format for its Arc graphics hardware. The update adds support for the game WARDOGS and includes several component updates, such as Intel Media SDK Runtime 21.0.1.35 and Intel oneVPL GPU Runtime 21.0.2.17.
The driver is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit (October 2022 update or later) and Windows 11 64-bit (October 2021 update or later). It supports the Intel Arc A-series and B-series discrete GPUs, as well as various Core processors featuring integrated Arc graphics.
Intel noted several known issues, including potential application crashes in games like Mafia: The Old Country, Arena Breakout: Infinite, and 007: Nightfire. Additionally, users may experience intermittent crashes during PugetBench benchmarks for DaVinci Resolve Studio, with a recommended workaround of setting the timeout slider to 1500 seconds or higher.
The company also reported issues with the performance tuning feature, which is currently in the testing phase. Problems include unresponsive menus in the software interface and difficulties when applying settings to multiple GPUs simultaneously, as the system may fail to adjust individual devices correctly.
