In August, Intel's share of CPU sales on Amazon in the US reached 21.3%, marking a notable increase from the previous level of approximately 10%. The average selling price for Intel processors was $304, while AMD processors averaged $314.
Despite the growth in market share, Intel models occupy only six spots among the top 25 best-selling CPUs. The highest-ranked Intel model, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, holds a 5.5% share and sits in seventh place.
AMD continues to dominate the platform with a 78.7% share of total CPU sales. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D leads the market individually with a 13.7% share.
Gaming processors featuring X3D technology account for over 37% of total sales. This segment is driven primarily by four specific models: the 9800X3D, 5800X3D, 7800X3D, and 9950X3D.
