Intel has officially suspended its bug bounty program, which previously incentivized security researchers to identify and report vulnerabilities. The status of the initiative is now listed as suspended on the Intigriti platform.

The program was structured into four distinct tiers based on the severity of the discovered issues. Payouts ranged from $5,000 for the first tier to $100,000 for the most critical vulnerabilities, such as those comparable to Spectre or Meltdown.

The company has not provided a formal explanation for the closure of the program. Industry observers suggest that the integration of advanced AI tools for internal security analysis and automated patching may have reduced the reliance on external researchers.
