Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan recently stated in an interview that the company will remain among the top ten customers of TSMC. Despite Intel's own manufacturing capabilities, the executive emphasized that the partnership with the Taiwanese foundry remains a key part of their business strategy.

Tan highlighted the importance of maintaining strong chip design and manufacturing operations in the United States. He noted that as advanced process nodes become increasingly complex and smaller, Intel will continue to drive progress in these areas while relying on collaborative efforts with external partners.

The CEO expressed his admiration for TSMC founder Morris Chang, acknowledging his significant contributions to the semiconductor industry. Tan emphasized that he views the business landscape as a collaborative ecosystem rather than a zero-sum game, where no single company can handle every task alone.
