Instinct, an AI assistant currently valued at $2.5 billion, has introduced a dedicated email address feature for its users. Founder Noah Shinn stated that these addresses allow the AI to independently manage account registrations and service interactions without cluttering the user's primary inbox.
The new functionality enables the assistant to handle tasks such as product returns, booking confirmations, and communication with businesses autonomously. Users can forward relevant threads or order details to their Instinct email address, allowing the agent to track information and execute follow-up actions.
The company has already reserved email addresses for early adopters, while other users can claim theirs via the official portal. The bot will continue to operate independently, requesting user input only when necessary to finalize specific decisions or tasks.
This update follows a series of recent integrations designed to expand the assistant's capabilities. Last week, Instinct partnered with 1Password to manage user credentials, and in August, the company collaborated with Stripe to facilitate seamless payments for bookings and purchases.
Additionally, Instinct has launched a location-sharing feature that tracks user movements to provide recommendations for local businesses and restaurants. The tool also allows users to query their location history, such as parking spots or past dining experiences.
