The native INJ token from Injective Protocol is now available on the Solana network as an SPL token. Trading and liquidity pools for the asset became active by September 17, 2026, following the token's operational launch on September 10–11. The listing is hosted on the Sunrise platform, which is integrated with Backpack Securities.
Previously, INJ access on Solana required the use of cross-chain bridges to the Cosmos-based Injective blockchain. The new native integration allows users to trade, provide liquidity, and utilize INJ within Solana-based DeFi applications without bridging. The initial on-chain supply of the SPL token ranges from 131,000 to 140,000 units.
The broader circulating supply of INJ is approximately 100 million tokens, with a market price between $5 and $6 per token. Staking on the native Injective network has reached a record 58.8 million INJ. Additionally, Injective is pursuing real-world asset tokenization, with pilot projects involving mortgage records and trade receivables exceeding $1 billion.
The integration also includes support for USDC to provide stable-value options for traders. Developers on Solana can now incorporate INJ directly into their protocols, including yield farming and lending strategies, as a native asset rather than a bridged version.
