Imperial, a trading terminal for perpetual futures on Solana, has reportedly secured $1.5 million in a seed round. The funding remains unconfirmed by official documentation, with estimates for the potential round ranging between $1.5 million and $2 million. As of May 2026, the project is backed by B&J Studios.
The platform functions as an order router, directing trades to venues such as Phoenix, FlashTrade, GMTrade, and Jupiter Perps. It also provides tools for active traders, including advanced order types, performance tracking, and a community points program.
The project is currently deploying Armada, a liquidity product described as a PropAMM. Armada operates entirely on the Solana blockchain and charges a taker fee of 1 basis point, or 0.01 percent of the trade value.
The company is led by CEO Jordan Prince, formerly of Citadel, and CTO Hunter Simmons, who previously worked on the Teleport project. The team now faces the challenge of balancing its role as a neutral order router with the operation of its own liquidity pool.
