An author from PC Gamer conducted an experiment to determine if placing decorative figures inside a PC case affects the thermal performance of internal components. The testing involved adding up to 20 various figures into the system.

The results showed that the presence of these objects does not negatively impact the cooling efficiency or overall performance of the computer. In one specific instance, the GPU temperature increased by only 1 degree Celsius, which is considered negligible.

While the large collection of figures clearly altered the airflow patterns within the chassis, these changes did not lead to any significant rise in operating temperatures. Further testing beyond the count of 20 units was not performed.
