Hyundai achieved its highest October sales volume, reaching 73 452 vehicles. This result represents a 5% increase compared to October 2025. Year-to-date, the company has sold 770 916 units, marking a 3% growth over the same period last year.
The Santa Fe model was the primary driver of this performance, with sales rising 52% to 17 959 units from 11 800 a year ago. Without the contribution of this SUV, the company's total sales for October would have declined by approximately 5%.
Other models showed mixed results. Sales of the Elantra, Kona, and Palisade grew by 17%, 21%, and 14% respectively. Conversely, Tucson sales dropped 23% to 17 808 units, while the Sonata and Santa Cruz saw declines of 29% and 16%.
The Ioniq 9 experienced a 47% decrease in October sales, though it remains a low-volume product with fewer than 7 000 units sold year-to-date. Despite these fluctuations, the brand's hybrid segment showed significant momentum.
Hybrid vehicle sales increased by 20% in October, accounting for 29% of the company's total monthly volume. Since the beginning of the year, hybrid sales have grown by 50%.
