A prominent trader on the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid has opened long positions in Ethereum worth approximately $60.7 million. According to Lookonchain, these positions have already generated about $2.6 million in unrealized profit. The trader, who began operations four months ago, has established a track record of 15 trades with only one loss of $3,866.

The whale's total realized profit stands at $29.75 million, with the majority, $28.2 million, derived from Bitcoin long positions. Despite recent market volatility that saw $688.56 million in leveraged positions liquidated in a single day, the trader maintains four open positions. After accounting for losses on older trades, the net profit across these four positions is approximately $608,600.

Ethereum is currently trading at $2,526.75, reflecting a 0.99% decline over 24 hours and a 6.39% drop over the past week. While the whale has entered positions near the $2,420 level, US spot Ethereum ETFs have experienced 10 consecutive days of net outflows. Total withdrawals from these funds since September 29 have reached approximately $782.6 million.

Market analysts identify a resistance zone for Ethereum between $2,560 and $2,570. The whale's liquidation prices are set significantly lower, at $1,272 and $1,513. Future market movements may be influenced by upcoming US inflation data, with economists projecting an annual Consumer Price Index increase to 3.7%.
