Hygon Information has introduced its 14XX series CPU, marking the company's first entry into the industrial control market within its 1000-series edge computing lineup. The announcement took place at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit.

The new processor integrates C86 CPU cores, a GPU module, and cache memory. It supports both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM standards. Connectivity features include 10 PCIe Gen4 lanes, multiple serial ports, and dual video output via DisplayPort and HDMI.

Designed for harsh environments, the 14XX series operates within a temperature range of -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The hardware is rated for 24/7 continuous operation and is backed by a 10-year supply commitment from the manufacturer.

The CPU features a low TDP of 10W and includes hardware-level support for SM2, SM3, and SM4 cryptographic algorithms. It also offers virtualization capabilities, a trusted execution environment, and secure boot functionality.

The platform comes with a comprehensive software ecosystem, including an SDK, real-time operating systems, and development tools. It supports industrial protocols such as EtherCAT, Modbus, MQTT, and OPC UA for automation and IoT applications.
