Huawei is developing a new smartphone brand called Starlight. The upcoming device will feature a 6.39-inch flat display with a 16:9.5 aspect ratio, mirroring the screen configuration found in the Pura X View model. The panel offers a 1.5K resolution and utilizes LTPS matrix technology rather than LTPO, meaning it lacks adaptive refresh rate capabilities.
The design focuses on thin bezels, measuring 1.05 mm on all four sides. A distinct visual element of the device is its purple power button. While the main camera module design remains undisclosed, the company intends to position the Starlight series as a more accessible product line.
According to reports, the Starlight smartphones are expected to be sold exclusively through online channels. The brand is primarily targeting the youth market in China. Huawei has not yet disclosed specific pricing details or the official release date for the new product line.
