Huawei has unveiled the Smart Lock 2 Pro Enjoy Edition, with official sales scheduled to begin on September 23. The device features a front-facing camera with a depth sensor, a 161-degree wide-angle lens, and a dedicated emergency call button.

The core of the security system is the AI 3D Face Raise 3.0 technology, utilizing 3D ToF sensors. It captures 307,200 depth data points to identify users in approximately 0.8 seconds. The system accommodates users between 1.2 and 2 meters tall and recognizes faces at angles up to 30 degrees.

The lock includes anti-spoofing algorithms that distinguish real faces from photographs, videos, or 3D models. The integrated AI also monitors for unusual activity and allows users to stream video to smartphones, smart screens, or control panels, supporting remote unlocking and picture-in-picture modes.

The device is powered by a 10,000 mAh battery, providing up to 6 months of operation. Alternatively, using four AA batteries extends the runtime to 7 months. In case of total power failure, an emergency button activates a backup power source for fingerprint or password access.
