Huawei has launched the Smart Door Lock 2 Pro Enjoy Edition, currently available on JD.com. The device is priced at ¥2499, with regional government subsidies reducing the cost to ¥2124.15 for some users.
The lock features an integrated die-cast design with an automatic noise-reduction mechanism and a C-level lock cylinder. It includes a depth-sensing camera and a 161-degree wide-angle smart peephole, alongside an emergency button.
Equipped with AI 3D Face Recognition 3.0 and 3D ToF technology, the system captures 307,200 depth points to unlock in approximately 0.8 seconds. It supports users between 1.2 and 2.0 meters tall and recognizes side profiles up to 30 degrees.
The device includes AI human detection and abnormal activity capture, allowing video streaming to phones or smart screens with remote unlocking capabilities. It also provides voice message alerts and weather updates.
Power is supplied by a 10,000 mAh lithium battery, lasting 4 to 6 months, or up to 7 months with four AA batteries. If power fails, the emergency button activates a backup system for fingerprint or password access.
