Huawei has introduced two new versions of the Watch Ultimate 2: Snow White and DESCENTE Edition. The Snow White model features a white-purple bezel and a breathable water-repellent nylon strap, while the DESCENTE Edition is dark gray with a ceramic bezel and a matching strap.
The core specifications remain unchanged from the original version. The device is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a pixel density of 310 PPI, and a peak brightness of 3500 nits.
The primary update focuses on sports capabilities. The watch now supports six winter sports modes, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, indoor activities, cross-country skiing, and a new ski mountaineering mode. The latter allows route loading and tracks altitude and distance during ascent, while automatically recording speed, altitude, and turn frequency during descent.
The flagship retains its advanced features, such as diving up to 150 meters, underwater sonar communication, BeiDou satellite messaging, eSIM, navigation, fall detection, action camera connectivity, NFC, and a smart car key. Health monitoring includes ECG, blood oxygen levels, sleep and stress tracking, and general body analysis.
The Snow White version offers battery life of 11 days in power-saving mode, 6 days in normal use, and 4 days with AOD enabled. Pre-orders have started, and sales will begin on September 17 in China at a price of ¥6999.
