Huawei Pura X View and Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design smartphones are now capable of downloading and deploying own local large models. Users can choose between a multimodal enhanced model (approximately 6 GB) and a multimodal Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) model (approximately 15 GB).
Both models operate as on-device AI, allowing them to function without an internet connection. The multimodal enhanced model provides AI enhancement services such as local image generation, speech synthesis, and AI ultra-clear enhancement for the camera, as well as gallery retouching and voice broadcasting functions.
The multimodal MoE model is designed for complex task understanding and application control, including the following offline photo organization tasks. This capability is part of a broader update to HarmonyOS 7.0.0.102 SP8, which introduced 3D spatial wallpapers, Intimate Circle, and Outdoor Exploration mode.
