Richard Yu, Executive Director of Huawei and Chairman of the Terminal BG, visited a Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance store in Hefei on September 24. During his appearance, he confirmed that the new Aito vehicle models scheduled for release this year remain under the primary design and leadership of the Huawei team.
The executive also provided an update on the upcoming luxury segment, noting that the large ultra-luxury SUV under the Maextro brand is slated for launch in early 2025. Industry observers anticipate that the Aito model mentioned by Yu refers to the upcoming flagship M8 SUV.
The Aito M8 has already been officially teased by Harmony Intelligent Mobility. The manufacturer has revealed the exterior design of the flagship SUV, which will be available in two new color options: Sky Blue and Cangrong Green.
