Huawei recently launched the Ruiying Z10 modular camera, which features the proprietary HyperClick mount. The standard version is priced at ¥5,999, while the collector's edition set costs ¥19,499. The device is designed to pair with smartphones for image processing and storage.

The camera utilizes a 1-inch 50MP sensor and a 16-element lens system across 6 groups. This configuration enables a 10x continuous optical zoom, covering a focal range of 24mm to 240mm with an aperture of F2.0-4.5.

Although the lens cap is marked as 62mm, the company intentionally designed the lens barrel to be incompatible with standard 62mm filters. Huawei representative Li Xiaolong explained that using standard 62mm filters would obstruct the 'Red Maple' camera sensor, resulting in color distortion.

To use filters with the Z10, users are advised to utilize a specific adapter ring to convert the mount to 77mm. The company recommends waiting for official filter accessories rather than purchasing standard 62mm hardware.
