Huawei and China Eastern Airlines have launched a system-level in-flight Wi-Fi integration. This partnership allows Huawei smartphones running HarmonyOS 7.0 to connect to the airline's network with a single tap, eliminating the need for separate applications or manual portal logins.

To access the service, passengers must enable flight mode and connect to the CEAIR-WiFi network. The system triggers an automatic pop-up for authentication via the HarmonyOS service. If the pop-up fails to appear, users can manually navigate to the muflyer.com website to initiate the connection process.

The collaboration also introduces exclusive benefits for owners of specific flagship models. Users of the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, and the Collector's Edition can claim one year of high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi. Owners of the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design and Mate XT2 Ultimate Design receive one year of ultra-fast service.

These benefits are accessible through the My Huawei application. Users can navigate to the new device benefits section to link their account with the China Eastern Airlines service. Once the authentication is successful, the service automatically closes, confirming the user is online.
